Spot & Games - The Never Ending Battle

I’ve had a few people rave about this game. The problem is that it’s just not my usual genre. I do have a soft spot for the Resident Evil series, however, I just could not get into other horror/survival games. However, after watching my roommate play Dead Space 2, I really am intrigued!

Dead Space started well enough. I gave it a go for a couple of levels but just wasn’t getting into it. However, Dead Space 2 started in such a unique manner that I found myself watching it more than expected. The only downside to this? Now I have to go and play through the first.

Same problem I have with jumping into Mass Effect 2 without playing the prequel. I like to know the story, the situations, and the events that lead up to the existing world. Is it mandatory? No. However, it’s preferred. As it stands now, this gaming list just keeps growing as more impressive titles hit.

Anyway - The goal is to borrow Dead Space from my roommate and maybe give it a shot over a weekend. Trying to find that weekend in question? Now that’s the challenge.
